How to access the free wireless

If you have internet access in your room, but can't get the free wireless access in the public areas of the hotel, here's what you need to do. Ring the help desk on 1-888-240-3736 and they will give you an access code!

PS. This also means that if you still don't have author access to the blog, you can grab me during the day and I'll set you up straight away.

Could you please clarify something - is there actually _free_ wireless in the public areas?

My understanding is that you have to pay (about)$16 CAD per 24 hr period, and that this is good for both your room and the public areas of the hotel.

FAIRMONT is the only wireless network showing up for me on the conference floor. If I can just get an access code for being in the conference, I'll stop paying in my room. !

that's my understanding as well, the wifi is a "carryover" of the paid net access from your room...
