Call for proposals - Regular presentations

Presentations sessions are 45 minutes in length - typically 35-40 minutes for presentation and 5-10 minutes for open questions.

Presentations can address core IA principles, emerging trends and technologies, the management of IA or UX teams, or the business of IA. We are also interested in cross-disciplinary contributions to the practice of IA from related fields such as library science, user experience, interaction design, and user centered design.

Your presentation submission should include the following:

  • Presenter names & contact info (this will be collected separately in the submission system - your proposal document / abstract should not contain this information)
  • Presentation title
  • Presentation description (typically several paragraphs, a page or two at most - no books please!)
  • Target audience (beginner, advanced, etc)
  • Keywords that describe the presentation

Important: All presentations will undergo blind peer-review. Please anonymize your submission. That is, please remove all author information and other identifying marks from the actual submission. Author information will be collected separately when you complete the submission form. If your submission is accepted you will be asked to provide bios for the presenters.

How and when to submit

  • The call for papers closed on November 6th.

Registration - New for 2008: One complimentary conference registration will be given to each presentation accepted - details will be distributed with acceptance notifications in January 2008. Additional presenters may register for the summit at the reduced "additional presenter" rate.
