Alex Kirtland

Alex is the Founder of UsableMarkets LLC, a consultancy specializing in usability, research, and design strategy for online markets. He provides incisive and creative thinking to help his clients bring their ideas to life.

He has over 11 years experience designing usable interfaces for a variety of clients in a variety of industries. Some recent companies he has worked with include: Morgan Stanley (trading applications), Philip Morris USA (intranet), CIGNA (future state myCIGNA.com), Peak6 (retail options trading), FundQuest (retirement planning), CEG and Reuters (financial advisor B2B2C site), and ResortQuest (travel planning).

His interests include information dashboards, trading interfaces, prediction markets, and information design.
