Jeff Lash

Jeff Lash currently works for Elsevier as the Product Director for MD Consult, a leading web site providing clinical reference information for physicians and medical professionals. In his role, he is responsible for researching market and customer needs, overseeing product management, and defining product strategy.

Previously, Jeff was member of Elsevier’s User-Centered Design group and also practiced information architecture and user-centered design for companies including MasterCard International and visual communication firm XPLANE.

Jeff was a co-founder of the Information Architecture Institute (IAI), where he served three terms on the Advisory Board and founded IAI’s Mentoring Program. He has written for Gain: AIGA’s Journal of Business and Design, Digital Web Magazine, and Boxes and Arrows. Jeff founded the St. Louis User Experience conference and has presented at numerous conferences including prior Information Architecture Summits.
