Speaker Bio

Celeste Lyn Paul

Celeste is Senior Interaction Architect at UserCentered Design in Ashburn, Virginia. Her research interests include the display of and interaction with information in various environments.

She is also involved in various Open Source Software (OSS) projects, advocating and improving software usability and development models which support integrated design. Projects she is involved with include the K Desktop Environment, OpenUsability, and Ubuntu Linux distribution.

Her presentation, A Delphi Approach to Card Sorting, was supported by the 2006 IA Institute Process Grant. It is the basis of her graduate thesis research at the University of Baltimore's department of Information Arts and Technologies.
