Tom Wailes

Tom Wailes has been a user experience professional for over 10 years during which time he has held roles as interaction designer, information architect, usability engineer and design manager. Tom is currently Director of User Experience for Yahoo! Local and Maps where he oversees a team that is responsible for developing the user experience strategy, concepts and design execution for these products. In his 5 years at Yahoo! Tom has also led the design teams for Search, Autos, Real Estate and Classifieds where he oversaw both original product development (e.g. MyWeb) as well as multiple significant and successful redesigns.
