IA Summit 2018 Main Conference TalkTopic(s): case studies, collaboration, management, and strategy
McGraw-Hill Education (MHE) is transitioning from a traditional analog publishing house to a digital learning science platform. The success of this endeavor requires a complex enterprise-scale information model, capable of delivering content, managing educational services, and providing insights across many different applications. The platform is implemented by multiple software engineering teams in different locations, with tight deadlines and cross-dependencies.
This session will highlight how the information architecture team at MHE has adapted traditional information design techniques to an agile approach that is fast, scalable, customer-centric, and produces a high quality information model across the entire platform.
