About the speaker(s)
Alëna Iouguina is an industrial designer and a UX Research Sr. Lead at Shopify. She’s currently writing a book called Systems: From Biology to Design and focusing on areas that start with biological research (from human to ecosystem behaviour).
Some of her work includes research and design in the domains of entrepreneurship, digital and ecologically sustainable manufacturing, hardware-software integrations, and more generally any problem spaces that require integration of multiple systems across many levels to address human needs.
